Kondyli Beach

Kondyli, also called Agios Nikolaos, combines a broad mixed shore, clear water and organised beach bars with open stretches beyond them.

Our take

A long Argolic shore with lively and quiet sections

Kondyli runs along a wide bay near Vivari and Drepano, within easy reach of Tolo and Nafplio. Sand and fine pebble vary along the shoreline, while beach bars occupy selected sections rather than controlling the whole coast.

The entry becomes deeper in places and afternoon wind crosses the bay, so inspect the water where you settle instead of generalising from another section. Access roads and parking areas can become dusty and congested. Walk a little beyond the busiest concessions for more space, carrying water because facilities are not continuous.
