A boat-served pebble bay under Symi's bare cliffs
Nanou's high limestone slopes and transparent water make the taxi-boat arrival part of the experience. The shore is pebble rather than sand, and the scale of the cliffs gives the bay a quiet atmosphere between boat calls.
Confirm the return timetable before settling in; wind can change or cancel service. Take shoes for the shore and enough water for delays. The bottom deepens quickly and there is no safe assumption of lifeguard cover, so weaker swimmers should remain close to the beach.
