Voutoumi Beach

A compact pale-pebble bay with luminous shallow water, usually visited by boat from Paxos and transformed by the timing of excursion traffic.

Our take

Clear shallows on tiny Antipaxos

Voutoumi’s colour comes from clear water over pale stone in a protected-looking bay. Most visitors arrive on day boats from Gaios or other Paxos ports, so the atmosphere changes noticeably between the middle of the day and the quieter hours around the excursion schedule.

Confirm what the boat fare includes, how long it stays and whether a change of bay is possible in poor conditions. Facilities are limited compared with a resort beach, and access from the landing may involve uneven ground or steps. Bring water and sun protection, keep the return time visible, and avoid treating private jetties or moorings as swimming platforms.
