Castle views and family space on a quiet hill above Myrina
Amygdalies makes the most of its elevated position above Myrina. Studios and family apartments look across the town, castle and Aegean towards the sunset, while independent entrances and a six-acre garden create far more breathing room than a central hotel. Interiors are traditional and uncomplicated, with kitchen facilities, daily cleaning and layouts for two to four guests. The two-room apartments are the sensible choice for families: children can sleep separately, breakfast need not become a daily expedition, and parking is available for the car most visitors use to explore Lemnos.
That panorama comes at the cost of an uphill location. The central market is about one kilometre away, Richa Nera beach a similar distance and the port closer to two kilometres, so walking back in summer heat will not suit everyone. There is no pool, breakfast room or restaurant, and the decor prioritises homely practicality over contemporary polish. A car turns those compromises into minor details and makes the property a calm launch point for the island. Amygdalies is Lemnos’ best hillside family-apartment option for space, sunset views and self-catering independence rather than nightlife at the doorstep.
