Generous beachfront studios close enough to walk into Eretria
Avantis Suites occupies a quiet strip of shore just south of Eretria, close enough to reach the town’s port and restaurants on foot along the coastal road. Its 30 studios and suites are substantially larger than ordinary hotel rooms: even the smallest are about 40 square metres, and the family layouts add separate sleeping space or compact kitchen facilities. A pool, children’s section and gently shelving beach sit in one compact line in front of the buildings.
The atmosphere is personal and informal, with breakfast and the seasonal restaurant overlooking the water. Interiors are comfortable rather than cutting-edge, some kitchenettes have limited equipment, and mosquitoes can be persistent beside the shore; bringing repellent and confirming the precise room outlook is sensible. Travellers outside the main season should also check which dining and pool services are operating. Avantis is Eretria’s best apartment-style hotel for young families and longer stays, particularly when extra room and town access matter more than the extensive facilities of a large all-inclusive resort.
