Quiet, design-led luxury between Nikopolis and the sea
Hooga is Preveza’s most convincing small design hotel. Low buildings and twelve generous rooms gather around a serene pool in Mytikas, using stone, wood, greenery and muted colour without turning minimalism into discomfort. Standard rooms are around 36 square metres and include a kitchenette; patio categories add substantial private outdoor space, while deluxe doubles and the two-bedroom villa bring their own pools. Full breakfast is included, and Mysa restaurant is a reason to stay in for dinner rather than an obligatory hotel fallback. Pilates, cycling and fitness sessions can be arranged, as can massages and other treatments. Faros Beach is nearby, Ancient Nikopolis is a short drive away, and free parking makes the hotel a calm first or final stop around nearby Aktion airport.
Hooga is not in Preveza town. The harbour, old lanes and most restaurants are around ten minutes away by car, so the address suits travellers who value stillness over evenings on foot. Faros is reachable but not directly outside the gate, and a rental car remains the most flexible way to explore the long Monolithi coast. The communal pool is seasonal and closes in the evening, restaurant reservations are recommended, and private pools belong only to named categories. Families are welcome, but standard rooms sleep at most three; larger groups need the expensive villa. There is no full spa circuit or direct beachfront.
