Katikies Manis

A collection of spacious stone maisonettes south of Kardamyli, with full kitchens, broad sea views and easy access by car to Foneas and Delfinia beaches.

Our take

Independent sea-view houses between two Mani coves

Katikies Manis gives couples and families the privacy of a holiday house without sending them deep into the countryside. The stone maisonettes, set among olive trees on the coast south of Kardamyli, range from roughly 55 to 85 square metres and have proper kitchens, living space and terraces facing the Messinian Gulf. The extra room is valuable on a longer road trip, particularly for parents who do not want every evening to end when the children go to bed. Guests can follow the estate down towards the rocky shore, while the much-loved swimming coves of Foneas and Delfinia are close by. Private parking makes day trips through the Mani straightforward.

A car is essential here. Kardamyli is a short drive rather than an evening stroll, and there is no onsite restaurant, breakfast service, communal pool or full resort programme. Split-level layouts and the natural, rocky approach to the water will not suit every guest with limited mobility or very young children. Housekeeping and service are lighter-touch than at a conventional hotel, which is part of the independence but worth understanding before arrival. Expedia rates Katikies Manis 9.8 from 36 reviews. It is our leading self-contained coastal stay because the houses offer meaningful living space and a memorable setting while keeping both beaches and village life within easy reach by car.
