Paralia Beach Boutique Hotel

A polished 23-room hotel facing the beach in Paralia, with excellent sea-view rooms, a generous breakfast and the resort’s cafés immediately outside.

Our take

The Katerini coast’s best-rated stay right on the seafront

Paralia Beach Boutique Hotel makes the most of the one thing no interior resort can reproduce: the sea directly in front of the building. The 23-room hotel stands beside Agia Fotini church at the lively centre of Paralia Katerinis, so guests can cross to the sand in the morning and walk to restaurants after dark. Rooms are smart, sound-insulated and larger than the narrow façade suggests; the sea-facing categories and their balconies justify the upgrade, while fixed-bed quadruples are useful for families. A substantial buffet breakfast, 24-hour reception, lift, coffee bar and rain showers keep the experience easy. The hotel also has official boutique certification, yet service feels personal rather than formal, with staff repeatedly praised for solving small practical problems quickly.

Paralia is Katerini’s beach district, about seven kilometres from the city centre, not a walkable extension of the city. In July and August the promenade is busy, music and street life continue late, and even effective glazing cannot create rural silence. The hotel has no swimming pool, gym or spa, and its restaurant offering is lighter than a full resort’s. There is no free on-site parking: paid or valet arrangements are available, but drivers should reserve and obtain arrival instructions before entering the crowded seafront streets. Expedia rates Paralia Beach Boutique Hotel a perfect 10.0 from 16 reviews. The sample is still modest, but it is the strongest verified score in the beachfront category and is supported by a much broader positive reputation elsewhere.
