Arvanitiko is a quieter western Mathraki shore where exposure, access and natural beach conditions demand more self-sufficiency.
The beach offers solitude and sunset-facing water but is less forgiving than Portello. Confirm the path locally, wear shoes and carry all supplies. Wind can build swell on the western coast, and natural debris is normal after weather. There are no dependable toilets, shade or rescue services, so turn back readily when conditions or route finding feel uncertain.
