Dragonera is a pebbly, pine-backed cove with clear swimming and just enough summer service for a comfortable half-day away from the island's settlements.
Our take
Pine shade and clear water on Agistri's west coast
Dragonera sits below a dense pine slope on Agistri's quieter western road. The shore is pebbly and the water becomes deep sooner than at Skala, but the bay is attractive for confident swimmers and snorkellers when the wind is light. Natural shade exists behind the beach, though it is claimed quickly.
A seasonal canteen and organised section reduce what you need to carry, but services are not guaranteed outside summer. The final approach is short and uneven, so use shoes with grip and avoid parking where cars block the narrow access road.
