A young west-coast cove beneath unstable cliffs
Erimitis appeared after a major cliff collapse on Paxos's western coast, leaving a bright pebble cove below raw limestone walls. The sunset-facing water is striking, but this remains a wild site rather than a managed attraction.
The approach is steep, loose and sometimes degraded; closed shoes are essential. Never sit against the cliff or visit after rockfall, rain or strong west weather. Bring all supplies, keep the load light and turn back if the path has been closed or damaged.
