A remote white-pebble bay beyond the Parnon road
Fokiano forms a broad horseshoe on the Myrtoan Sea, backed by steep green slopes and surfaced in pale pebble. The protected shape often keeps the central water composed, and a handful of seasonal tavernas give this remote coast a modest focal point.
The road from Leonidio or Poulithra is long, narrow and highly winding, with limited fuel or phone support. Start with a full tank, avoid driving after fatigue or alcohol and allow much more return time than the distance suggests. The pebble entry becomes deep and offers little grip without water shoes.
