Choose a small natural cove for a quiet swim, not for facilities or a guaranteed clear path
Fyki demonstrates that a small island can still require judgement. The cove is less formal than Porto and may collect sea grass or natural debris after wind. On a calm day it offers privacy and clear water; on the wrong day the main beach is a better choice.
Ask residents for the current route without crossing private gardens. Wear shoes, bring water and share your plan if walking alone. Do not expect signage, mobile reception, shade or rescue provision, and leave the shore exactly as found.
