Lagomandra blends coarse sand, pine-backed shade and organised hotel sectors, split into adjoining beaches by a low headland.
Our take
Pine shade and clear water on Sithonia's west coast
Lagomandra lies north of Neos Marmaras and is commonly treated as two connected beaches. Mature pine reaches close to the upper shore, while the water is clear enough for easy snorkelling around the dividing rock.
The coast road is fast and parking entrances can be easy to miss, so avoid abrupt turns. Pebble appears at the waterline and shoes help. Natural shade is valuable but limited; protect tree roots, never light fires and leave access routes open during high fire-risk periods.
