An open bay with Monemvasia rock on the horizon
Pori curves around a broad bay several kilometres north of Monemvasia's causeway. Its scale gives families and independent swimmers more room than the small shores beside Gefyra, while the distinctive fortress rock remains visible to the south.
The bay is exposed to north and northeast wind, which can produce chop and move fine pebble underfoot. Organised services are seasonal and concentrated near road access. Bring shoes for the mixed surface and avoid placing towels in vehicle turning areas at the back of the beach.
