Shallow sand facing the Mycale Strait
Psili Ammos curves around a low bay east of Pythagoreio, facing the nearby coast of Asia Minor. Fine sand and a long shallow entry distinguish it from Samos's many deep pebble beaches.
The compact shore becomes busy with families, and loungers occupy much of the centre. Small craft use the outer bay; stay within markers and arrive early for parking.
