Arki offers a single harbour settlement, simple tavernas and boat access to the shallow turquoise water of Tiganakia.
Arki lies north of Lipsi in a group of low, dry islets. Most life gathers around the protected port, where fishing boats, a handful of rooms and family tavernas create an intimate scale.
Tiganakia, a series of shallow channels and rocky pools, is the best-known swimming area and is reached on foot or by small boat. There are no conventional sights; the island is about sea conditions, conversation and the practical realities of a tiny community.
Practical information
Small ferries and excursion boats connect Arki with Patmos, Lipsi and Leros. Accommodation and supplies are extremely limited, so confirm everything before arrival.
