Evdilos is Ikaria's second ferry port, with a handsome waterfront, nearby beaches and road access to mountain villages and western panigyria.
Evdilos curves around a small harbour below neoclassical houses built when the town became an island capital in the nineteenth century. Waterfront tavernas and late sun make it a pleasant base rather than simply an arrival point.
Nearby Kampos has an archaeological museum and ancient remains, while roads climb to Raches villages and descend to northern beaches. Evdilos is well placed for experiencing Ikaria's communal festivals without staying in the busiest resort strip.

Confirm whether your ferry uses Evdilos or Agios Kirykos. Buses are limited and roads slow; arrange transport for late-night panigyria rather than driving.
