Nikiti joins a traditional hillside settlement with a modern seafront, nearby honey producers and quick access to Sithonia's best-known beaches.
Old Nikiti climbs above the main road with stone houses, tiled roofs and the church of Agios Nikitas. The newer town stretches towards a long beach and marina, creating a practical base with supermarkets, restaurants and services.
Sithonia's west coast unfolds south towards Kastri, Kalogria and the turquoise coves around Vourvourou. Nikiti is also known for honey, produced from the peninsula's pine forests and sold by local cooperatives.
Practical information
A car is useful for beach-hopping, although the town itself is walkable. Traffic builds on summer weekends, so start early and avoid parking on narrow old-village lanes.
