A small, little-visited islet off Hydra's rugged eastern coast.
Trikeri near Hydra is a remote maritime landmark with no regular visitor services, suited only to carefully planned local boat trips.
This Trikeri islet lies near Hydra and should not be confused with Paleo Trikeri in the Pagasetic Gulf. It forms part of Hydra's austere seascape of bare slopes, deep water and scattered uninhabited or minimally inhabited islands.
There is no conventional tourism offer here. Its value is the sense of distance from the busy Saronic routes and the perspective it gives on Hydra's exposed eastern coastline. Wildlife and private property should be given a wide berth.
Practical information
No scheduled ferry serves Trikeri. Only visit with an experienced licensed skipper from Hydra, carry all supplies and confirm weather, sea state and landing rights.
