31 Doors Hotel

A smart, highly rated city hotel between Alexandroupoli’s centre and Egnatia Park, with excellent beds, a generous breakfast and useful family rooms among its 31 keys.

Our take

Contemporary comfort on the city’s seafront avenue

31 Doors occupies a former clinic on Alexandroupoli’s main seafront avenue, now thoroughly recast as a modern 31-room hotel. Cool-toned interiors, good soundproofing and notably comfortable bedding make the rooms feel considered rather than generic. The lighthouse, harbour and central restaurants are reached on foot, while Egnatia Park and the waterfront lie in the opposite direction, giving the hotel an unusually useful position for both an overnight stop and a short city break.

Breakfast is a genuine strength, and room choices range from compact doubles to family suites, an annex loft and a penthouse with an outdoor hot tub. The trade-off is the busy avenue: front-facing rooms gain sea views but can hear traffic when balcony doors are open. Parking arrangements should also be confirmed before arrival, particularly in summer. Choose 31 Doors when walking access, fresh interiors and reliable sleep matter more than a resort pool or private beach; it complements Alexandroupoli’s two existing coastal resorts with a much more urban stay.
