Wellness architecture above the Cretan Sea
Acro Suites is built into a steep headland above Mononaftis Bay, using local stone and planted roofs to keep the architecture close to the terrain. The most distinctive rooms are cave suites set partly into the rock, each opening to a private saltwater pool and uninterrupted sea.
Daily yoga, a substantial spa and vegetable-led Cretan cooking shape a stay that is intentionally inward-looking. Heraklion and Knossos are possible excursions, but Acro is best chosen when rest, movement and design are the main purpose rather than a checklist tour of Crete.
