Bellevalia sits away from Hydra Town at Plakes Vlychos, where the island’s dry hills meet a clear, sheltered cove. The distance is part of the appeal: arrival is generally by boat from the harbour, and the hotel’s terraces step down through stone walls and pines to a private beach.
