CCLUX Suites

Recently renovated suites with kitchenettes, terraces and unusually generous floor plans, suited to longer Piraeus stays and travellers who dislike compact city rooms.

Our take

Apartment-scale space within walking distance of the port

CCLUX Suites answers a problem that Piraeus hotels often ignore: some travellers need more than a bed for one night. The renovated rooms measure roughly 32–43 square metres and include a kitchenette, dining space and either a balcony or terrace; most also look towards a quiet garden rather than directly onto port traffic. Pillowtop beds, large smart televisions, fast Wi-Fi and a complimentary stocked minibar give the interiors a considered feel. Guests share a rooftop terrace, garden, laundry facilities and a 24-hour gym. The main port area is around a five-to-eight-minute walk away, making this a practical base for a few working days or a slower stop between ferries.

It is an aparthotel rather than a staffed, full-service refuge. There is no restaurant, breakfast room, pool or on-site parking, and the railway and metro station are closer to an 18-minute walk than a quick roll with heavy cases. Reception arrangements and an expected arrival time deserve attention before travel. The five room types also vary: some have a private terrace, others only a small balcony, and none should be booked solely on the broad “40sqm” wording in the Expedia name. Expedia currently gives CCLUX 9.8 from 75 reviews. The sample is younger than those of the big port hotels, but it makes CCLUX the standout Piraeus aparthotel for space, simple self-catering and a calmer residential feel.
