A small hotel for settling into Steni Vala
Four Epoches puts guests in Steni Vala, a little harbour whose boats, fish tavernas and marine-centre atmosphere feel distinct from the busier arrival port at Patitiri. The hotel is about 100 metres from the bay, with Glyfa Beach a short walk farther on. A freshwater pool, restaurant, gym and playground give the compact property enough substance for an easy day close to home.
Rooms are straightforward rather than design-led, but the combination of warm service, good upkeep and a location in the island’s quieter north is hard to better in this price category. It works particularly well for families and repeat visitors who prefer village rhythm to nightlife. Bus service can be limited outside the core season, so confirm the current timetable or hire a car if old-town dinners and beaches across the island are part of the plan.
