Monastic calm in the commercial centre
MonAsty takes its cues from Thessaloniki’s Byzantine history without turning the hotel into a theme. Arches, shadowed corridors, dark timber and tactile fabrics give the interiors a cocooning quality, while the location places the busy commercial centre and Aristotelous Square just beyond the door.
The rooftop pool is compact but valuable in summer, and the Botargo restaurant gives regional ingredients a more considered setting.
