Reception normally closes in the afternoon and arrivals after 21:00 rely on an arranged code. Room sizes and natural light vary across the old buildings, and some ground-level or street-facing categories feel more enclosed than the romantic photographs suggest. Driving to Prionia is still necessary for the classic summit route; “at the foot of Olympus” does not mean beside the trailhead.
