Pandrossos has watched Parikia Bay since 1926, and its position remains the main reason to stay. The hotel stands just south of the old town, close enough to walk to the port and market lanes while facing west across the water. Most rooms place a balcony between the bed and that broad bay view, and recent renovation has brought the better categories up to date without stripping the building of its old island-hotel character. A seasonal pool, all-day Mediterranean restaurant and breakfast terrace make it possible to spend a slow afternoon on site. Boundaraki beach is close, a municipal bus stops near the entrance, and rooms sleeping three or four broaden the appeal beyond couples.
Pandrossos is being renewed in stages, so room category matters more here than a single set of marketing photographs suggests. Older rooms can have small showers and dated details; choose a renovated superior or deluxe category if finish is important. The final approach from the port includes a gentle uphill stretch, the pool is compact, and this is not a beach resort despite the uninterrupted water view. The sample is smaller than the two other Parikia picks, but recent feedback and the hotel’s renewed facilities make it the category leader for travellers wanting a pool, restaurant and sunset outlook without giving up the town on foot.
