Perigiali Hotel

A welcoming 27-key aparthotel with studios, apartments, a peaceful pool and a playground, close enough to the beach for easy family days and near enough to Chora for dinner.

Our take

Family-sized flexibility one minute from Magazia beach

Perigiali makes a Skyros family holiday unusually straightforward. Its 27 rooms, studios and apartments stand around a garden and pool just 50 metres from Magazia beach, with layouts sleeping two to four people. Studios add a kitchenette, while one-bedroom apartments give parents and children useful separation; cots and extra beds are available without turning every request into a negotiation. A playground, lift and on-site parking remove several small frictions. The poolside bar covers drinks and light bites, and the nearby beachfront tavernas mean nobody needs to drive for every meal.

This is an aparthotel rather than a full resort. There is no destination restaurant or elaborate spa, and self-catering equipment varies by category, so confirm a kitchenette instead of assuming every room has one. Sea views are limited to named rooms; many look towards the garden, pool or castle. The 1.5-kilometre route into Chora climbs sharply on the return, and the compact parking area can feel awkward when full. Perigiali is Skyros’s best family aparthotel for space, beach proximity and genuinely helpful service—especially for travellers who intend to spend their budget on island days rather than hotel ceremony.
