Sunset-facing calm between a tiny cove and the harbour
Deamaris makes the most of Syvota’s folded coastline. The small adults-only hotel is arranged down a hillside above Agios Nikolaos bay, so breakfast tables, balconies and the main pool all face the islets and the evening light. A sheltered strip of shore with hotel loungers sits at the bottom of the property, giving guests a quiet place to swim without organising a beach drive. Rooms are contemporary and generous, and two junior suites add their own plunge pool. Syvota harbour is close enough to reach on foot when the mood shifts from seclusion to dinner and a waterfront stroll.
The same slope that creates the view also demands some effort. There is no lift, the lane back from the harbour is steep, and travellers with limited mobility should discuss room position before booking. This is a breakfast hotel rather than a full resort: there is no dinner restaurant, spa or programme of activities, and reception closes in the evening. Guests must be at least 16, while only the two explicitly named suites have private pools. Deamaris is Syvota’s standout small adults-only stay for couples who want excellent swimming and a beautiful outlook without surrendering access to town.
