Sleep beside the sand on Antiparos’s quieter south coast
Soros Beach is eight kilometres south of town and feels like a different version of Antiparos. Rooms and suites sit immediately behind the island’s longest organised beach, allowing early and late swims after day visitors have gone. The restaurant, raw bar and beach service are central to the experience rather than peripheral hotel amenities, and larger suites give families enough space for a longer stay.
This is a lively, fashionable beach operation in high summer, not an isolated barefoot hideaway. Music, restaurant traffic and paid beach culture will suit some travellers better than others, and Soros’s water deepens quickly, so families with tentative young swimmers should take particular care. A car is strongly recommended for dinners and exploring beyond the property. Choose it when direct access to a beautiful southern beach matters more than being able to stroll into town each evening.
