The family headquarters at Navarino Dunes
The Westin is the easy answer when a family needs many different holidays to happen at once. Its 443 rooms and suites spread through low stone buildings at Navarino Dunes, sharing the coast, restaurants, Anazoe Spa and sports facilities with The Romanos next door. Family suites have a separate living area, connecting configurations are available, and 131 rooms and suites add an individual infinity pool. The Lagoon and Westin pools, seasonal aqua park, supervised children's facilities and organised sports give younger guests genuine choices rather than a token playroom. The sandy beach and Dunes golf course are part of the same large resort landscape.
Scale is the benefit and the compromise. The grounds take time to learn, the atmosphere around the main pools is energetic during school holidays, and private-pool rooms are not automatically private from neighbouring paths or upper floors. Some children's programmes, crèche sessions and sports camps cost extra or run only on selected dates, so parents should confirm the exact programme before promising it. Couples can certainly stay well here, particularly around golf and spa time, but The Romanos feels calmer at Navarino Dunes and the two Navarino Bay resorts have more distinct adult personalities. Choose The Westin when family logistics and a deep activity menu matter more than boutique intimacy.
