Cross only with a local licensed skipper who can protect both passengers and Antipsara's nesting birds
Antipsara gives Psara its finest boat day: a low, uninhabited island and bright Psili Ammos beach beyond the main harbour. The surrounding area is protected and supports nesting seabirds, so a responsible trip follows the skipper's landing instructions and keeps well away from colonies and seasonal closures.
Arrange the outing locally, verify licensing and ask about shade, water, lifejackets and the boarding method. Wind can cancel the crossing at short notice. Bring nothing that could become litter, never approach wildlife for photographs and accept that conservation may change the planned stop.
