Choose Psara's larger outlying bay for a self-contained beach day rather than a quick dip between sights
Lakka rewards the extra distance with a broader sense of space than beaches beside the settlement. It is a place to settle for several hours, swim only when conditions are comfortable and notice how little development occupies Psara's coast. There may be no practical way to buy what you forgot.
Arrange the return before leaving, carry abundant water and use a shade structure that will not blow away. The shore and seabed vary between sand and pebbles. There is no reason to persist if wind creates surf or the heat makes the road unsafe.
