Agia Anna extends south from Agios Prokopios with soft sand, tavernas and frequent summer transport, busy but particularly practical for families.
Our take
A sheltered sandy village beach with easy Chora access
Agia Anna combines a traditional small harbour with a developed sandy shore. Tamarisk, tavernas and organised sections create a comfortable day, while frequent buses from Naxos Town make a rental car unnecessary.
The bay's southwest orientation gives useful shelter from northerly wind. The central beach is crowded in July and August, so walk south toward Maragas for more room. Keep away from harbour and excursion-boat movements.
