A quick clear-water swim below Nafplio's old town
Arvanitia tucks beneath the cliffs of Akronafplia, close enough for a swim between sightseeing and dinner. The small pebble shore looks toward the Argolic Gulf and connects to the Arvanitia promenade, giving car-free visitors a genuine beach option.
Space is tight in summer and the water deepens rapidly. Shoes improve the pebble entry, while the cliff-backed position loses direct sun earlier than Karathona. The coastal path continues beyond the beach but includes exposed stretches; it should not be confused with a fully accessible waterfront pavement.
