Clear pebble water below Mount Pantokrator
Barbati lies on Corfu's northeast coast beneath the steep flank of Mount Pantokrator. Pale pebble keeps the water exceptionally clear, while trees, tavernas and organised sections break up the long shore.
The entry becomes deep and loose stones are awkward barefoot. Several lanes descend from the main road, some steep or stepped, so accessibility varies greatly by section. Keep inside swimming zones because excursion boats and water-sports craft use the bay.
