A quieter run of coast beyond Makri
Dikella is less a single bounded beach than a coastal district with several accessible swimming points. Low development and long sea views create a calmer alternative to the city beaches, especially outside peak weekends.
Choose an established access rather than cutting through private plots, and never leave a vehicle on dry grass during fire season. The mixed seabed rewards water shoes, while open exposure means wind and waves can vary noticeably between morning and afternoon.
