Erotospilia Beach, Porto Rafti

Erotospilia is a small sandy and pebbly cove with clear water and a rocky frame, appealing early but crowded and difficult to park at peak times.

Our take

A compact cove that outgrows its parking by mid-morning

Erotospilia sits in a narrow indentation north of Porto Rafti. The water is often clear and the rocks provide useful snorkelling, while the small shore gives the cove an intimate scale outside high season. In July and August that scale becomes a constraint rather than a virtue.

There is little dependable infrastructure and almost no spare road space. Bring water and shade, arrive early, and leave if legal parking is unavailable rather than blocking access for residents or emergency vehicles. Rock shoes are helpful along the edges.

Good to know

Small cove, Snorkelling, Limited parking, and Unorganised beach
