A film-famous Skopelos cove with a polished summer setup
Kastani is a compact west-coast cove framed by pines and known internationally as a Mamma Mia filming location. The main shore mixes sand and fine pebble, with clear water and sunset views toward the open Aegean.
Film tourism and the beach bar make midday busy. The final road is unpaved but normally passable in season; drive slowly and use the designated free parking. Move away from music toward the edges if space permits, and watch for rapidly deepening water.
