Olympic Beach is a developed but easy-going section of the Pieria coast. Golden sand, shallow water and organised services suit families, while a lit promenade and cycle path connect it with Paralia Katerini. Food and accommodation sit within a few minutes of the shore.
Summer weekends are busy, yet the wide beach retains public areas between concessions. Thermaic Gulf wind can roughen the shallows, so check flags before swimming with children and keep clear of water-sports zones.
