Rovies Beach

Rovies trades Aegean drama for gentler gulf water, a long pebbly shore and easy access to food beneath North Evia's green slopes.

Our take

A calm gulf-side shore lined with cafés and tavernas

Rovies faces the enclosed North Euboean Gulf, so it often remains calmer than beaches across the island. A long pebbly ribbon runs beside the village and olive groves, with cafés and tavernas close to the main sections. It is a comfortable pause on the road between Limni and Edipsos.

Water shoes help on the pebble, and the sea becomes moderately deep beyond the edge. Choose a village section for service or continue along the coast for more space, checking that any parking leaves the road and private access clear.
