Bokos sits away from Volos's seafront in Nea Ionia, with a tiled, television-lit room that feels closer to a neighbourhood café than a destination restaurant. Regulars order tsipouro and receive changing seafood meze—small fish, shellfish, octopus and whatever the kitchen prepared—one round at a time.
