Varoulko Seaside

Varoulko faces the fishing boats of Mikrolimano from a glass-fronted room and waterside terrace. Lefteris Lazarou built the kitchen around Greek fish and shellfish, then pushed well past the grilled-by-weight formula used along much of the harbour.

Our take

Lazarou puts the catch above the harbour view

Varoulko faces the fishing boats of Mikrolimano from a glass-fronted room and waterside terrace. Lefteris Lazarou built the kitchen around Greek fish and shellfish, then pushed well past the grilled-by-weight formula used along much of the harbour.

The current menu runs à la carte beside a €135 degustation, with grilled fish listed at €115 per kilo and bread charged per person. Ask for the fish weight before cooking, check whether out-of-season shellfish arrives frozen and reserve the terrace when calm weather matters.

What visitors say

Michelin currently selects Varoulko and notes its two tasting options; the official live menu lists dish prices, per-kilo fish, bread and frozen-product notation.
