The square is the village's social and visual centre, best reached on foot through steep stone lanes. Arrive early to experience it before day-trip crowds and delivery traffic. Cobbles become slippery in rain and present substantial access challenges. Use cafés without monopolising viewpoints, keep noise low around homes and continue beyond the most photographed terrace.
