A convenient sandy bay just south of Nikiti
Agios Ioannis is one of the first substantial bays south of Nikiti, making it easy to combine with a village stay. The beach has a gentle visual profile and polished services, while the northern and southern margins retain more open sand.
Resort development and day visitors place pressure on parking. Use signed access, never assume a private hotel lot is public and arrive early. The seabed can change after storms, and marked water-sports corridors should be treated as working lanes rather than swimming shortcuts.
