Also signed as Livrohio, Trani Ammouda stretches along a wide bay north of Ormos Panagias. Its scale, pale sand and shallow first metres suit families, and the remains of a Byzantine tower mark the southern end.
Services are separated rather than continuous, so choose your access point with water and shade needs in mind. Afternoon breeze can bring chop into the open bay. Keep clear of the tower masonry and use established tracks rather than driving onto sand or vegetation.
