Agios Isidoros Beach

Agios Isidoros is a long pebble beach just outside Plomari, with organised central sections, seasonal lifeguard cover and nearby food.

Our take

Choose Plomari's long pebble shore for reliable summer services, then read the wind before committing to a full beach day

Agios Isidoros is the practical swimming companion to a Plomari day. Pebbles continue into the water, with rockier ends and a broad central section that carries most summer services. Official local information lists changing cabins, showers, umbrellas, loungers, bins, a volleyball court and a lifeguard station, while restaurants and rooms sit behind the shore.

The open south coast can still respond to wind and boat movement, so assess flags and surface conditions rather than relying on photographs from a calm morning. Water shoes help on hot or unstable pebbles. Keep swimmers away from rocky projections and never treat seasonal businesses as proof that a lifeguard is on duty that day. Use legal roadside parking and preserve clear access for residents and emergency vehicles.
