Alonaki Fanari is a small sand-and-pebble cove beneath trees, attractive for snorkelling but quick to fill and short on dependable services.
Our take
A wooded cove where shade and space are both limited
Alonaki sits below a wooded slope between Preveza and Parga. Rock frames a compact beach and small offshore islet, creating clear green water and useful snorkelling in calm weather. Natural shade helps, but the cove has very little capacity.
The final road includes an unpaved section and facilities may amount to one seasonal canteen. Carry water, use shoes around submerged rock and avoid jumping without checking depth. If parking is already congested, choose a larger nearby beach.
