Anthony Quinn Bay

A small pine-edged cove near Faliraki with clear water over rock, beautiful before peak arrival and crowded once every platform and parking space fills.

Our take

A compact rocky cove made for an early swim

Anthony Quinn Bay is all texture—dark rock, green slopes and transparent water rather than a conventional sandy shore. It is excellent for a careful snorkel when the sea is calm and visibility is good.

Arrive early, wear water shoes and keep clear of boat approaches. The uneven shore and steps are not ideal for everyone, and limited natural space makes spreading towels onto circulation routes inconsiderate. If the car park is full, choose another beach rather than stopping unsafely on the access road. Never snorkel alone or beyond your ability.
